Elizabeth Bishop Reads from Edgar Allan Poe & The Juke-Box

Filed under: Elizabeth Bishop, drafts & fragments, Edgar Allan Poe - imaginaryreadings @ 11:07 am

After years of efforts to persuade her, Elizabeth Bishop will read from Edgar Allan Poe & The Juke-Box in a Newfoundland park (comment with your email for directions) tomorrow evening at 6:36 PM. Please note that she has only agreed to this so that she can explain exactly why she dislikes every rejected draft before she reads it. Audience members who feel uncomfortable with this are advised to remember that hers is an affirmative No.
